Idaho's Three Rivers Bear Three Rivers country lies in the heart of Idaho where the Lochsa, Selway and Clearwater rivers have carved their paths through a landscape of extraordinary beauty. It is the classic rugged terrain of the Northern Rockies — steep-sided slopes blanketed with thick forests, vast brush fields and alpine meadows; a mosaic habitat created in the early part of the century by catastrophic fires. To even the casual observer, this appears to be exceptional habitat for Idaho's prized big game animals — including the American Black Bear. |

With 2 1/2 bears per square mile, many
of our guests enjoy multiple opportunities to harvest an American Black
Bear from the beautiful Idaho forests. Colors range from blond, cinnamon,
and reddish chocolate to black. |
Combination
Options Turkey hunting at the Flying B Ranch is most often combined with our Spring Bear hunt. These combination hunts are conducted from the Flying B Lodge where you will enjoy the rustic elegance of our 14,000 square foot lodge and all its amenities. Populations of the Merriam subspecies—now prevalent throughout North Central Idaho—have grown dramatically here on the ranch and two-bird limits are now in effect. Whether your desire is a straight turkey hunt or a bear/turkey combination, the Flying B Ranch is sure to satisfy. Season |
